HS Features—First Class HSC Technology

  • The HS Machine is purpose-built for outstanding HSC performance which is required in today's modern mold making environment. The machine is designed to achieve very high "G" values and low harmonic vibrations ensuring ultra fast corner transitions, extremely high accuracy and super fine surface finishes.

  • The highly rigid machine structure allows the high-dynamic AC drive system to be tuned to a high state ensuring that maximum performance is achieved

Applications:
The HS Series is suitable for machining a wide range of materials from hardened steels to graphite, brass, copper, aluminum, ABS plastics and more. From shoe mold production to automotive and aerospace the HS machine is a dynamic performer.

HIGH SPEED SPINDLE
The HS Series employs the IMT high frequency spindle and converter from Germany. This spindle is extremely rigid and features a removable assembly that allows a complete bearing change in minutes which can be performed by in-house personnel. The spindle also features hybrid ceramic bearings and is the latest in HF spindle technology. Spindle speeds from 15,000 to 45,000rpm and 2.8kw to 17kw are available.
CONTROL CIRCUIT
Electrical circuits are designed specifically for high frequency controls. High and low frequency, AC and DC circuits are isolated for trouble-free service and maximum performance. Wiring conforms to all standards including European CE regulations.

BALLSCREW PROTECTION
Ballscrews have triple protection from contamination:
1) Special nut wiper
2) Helical ballscrews cover on all axes
3) Flexible bellows cover all transmission elements.
